Grange des Pères Blanc 2004 is a full-bodied, blended red wine from the Languedoc region of south-west France. Domaine de la Grange des Pères was founded in the early 1990s by the late Laurent Vaillé, who was known for his meticulous and passionate approach to winemaking. The estate has gained a cult following and its wines are highly sought-after due to their limited production and exceptional quality. Vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically principles. Just two wines are made at the domaine. one white (using Chardonnay, Roussanne and Marsanne with a small amount of Petit Manseng) and one red (typically Syrah and Mourvèdre, with smaller proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Counoise). The 2004 Blanc was matured in barrel for 24 months and offers rich yet balanced notes of white flowers, ripe stone and citrus fruits, and smoky gunflint hints.
