Glenfarclas 19 Years Old Family Cask 2385, distilled in 2004, is a single malt whisky from the renowned Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside, Scotland. This expression exemplifies the distillery`s commitment to tradition, having remained entirely family-owned since its founding in 1836. On the palate, expect notes of rich fruitcake and subtle spices, complemented by hints of oak. The finish reveals a balance of sweetness and dryness, showcasing its maturation in a refill Port pipe. A Family Owned Distillery

Glenfarclas is one of very few privately owned Scottish distilleries having been in the hands of the Grant family for six generations from the mid-1800s until the present day. Glenfarclas operate three wash stills and four spirit stills and take their water from springs around the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain.

The distillery have a focus on high quality, flavourful spirits matched with high quality ex-Sherry barrels from Jerez de la Frontera. The core range is impressively consistent featuring a 10 year old, 15 year old, 18 year and 21 year old. A limited edition 30 year old is released annual and special mention should go to 105 Caskk Strength - a superb non-age-statement cask strength single malt bottled at 57.5% ABV.
