Amber in colour, its rich sherry nose features barley sugars, chestnut honey, chocolate malt, Seville orange marmalade, hints of white miso, and baking spices. Orchard fruits like quince and pear are also present. As the nose evolves, more sherry notes emerge, alongside roasted almonds, stollen, and toffee apple.
On the palate, it`s bold and intense with flavours of chocolate malt, coffee, figs, and beef stock. Water reveals additional layers of spice, honey, walnuts, and Glenfarclas` characteristic green apple freshness. Bottled at a bracing 62.7% ABV.

A Family Owned Distillery
Glenfarclas is one of very few privately owned Scottish distilleries having been in the hands of the Grant family for six generations from the mid-1800s until the present day. Glenfarclas operate three wash stills and four spirit stills and take their water from springs around the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain.
The distillery have a focus on high quality, flavourful spirits matched with high quality ex-Sherry barrels from Jerez de la Frontera. The core range is impressively consistent featuring a 10 year old, 15 year old, 18 year and 21 year old. A limited edition 30 year old is released annual and special mention should go to 105 Caskk Strength - a superb non-age-statement cask strength single malt bottled at 57.5% ABV.
