Sérafin Père et Fils is one of the leading wine producers in Gevrey-Chambertin. The domaine was originally established in 1947 by a Polish immigrant named Stanislaus Sérafin and it is currently led by third-generation cousins Karine and Frédérique. This cuvée comes from their 0.45-hectare plot in ‘Les Corbeaux’, a small Premier Cru vineyard situated within the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation.

Les Corbeaux climat, a site celebrated for its distinct terroir in the Côte de Nuits. The 2009 vintage presents a structured profile, highlighting berry notes alongside earthy undertones.

- The 2009 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux comes across as ripe, upfront and juicy. The wine turns more delicate in the glass as the aromatics gradually emerge. Sweet floral and minty notes add freshness on the finish. The 2009 has enough vibrancy to drink well for the better part of the next decade.
