Duhart Milon 2003 is a Bordeaux wine from the Pauillac appellation, crafted from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. Château Duhart-Milon is owned by the Rothschild family, renowned for its meticulous vineyard management and commitment to quality. In spite of the challenges of the 2003 vintage, the wine exhibits structure and depth, making it suitable for short-term ageing.
88 Vinous
(a 73/27 blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot) Bright ruby-red. Blackcurrant, blueberry, black cherry, violet, tobacco, fresh herbs and currant leaf on the slightly medicinal, quintessential cabernet nose. Then broad, fat and rich, with a layered texture and enticing sweetness. Showing its cabernet side today, but this is thoroughly ripe, seamless cabernet.
