Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Sourced from the prestigious Oberhäuser Brücke vineyard, known for its steep slopes and grey slate soils, this wine exemplifies the terroir`s influence. It offers an aromatic spectrum of ripe apricot, citrus zest and hints of wildflower. The palate reveals a blend of sweetness and acidity, showcasing well-integrated notes of honey and mineral depth. Dönnhoff, a family-owned estate, has been producing wines since 1750, with a consistent focus on quality and respect for the land.

“Here is where ambition sets in,” remarks Donnhoff of his decision to harvest the 2004 Oberhaueser Brucke Riesling Auslese A.P. #21. Stringently selected for more botrytis than the #16, this Auslese is positively ethereal in aroma, featuring pure botrytis, honey, jellied red currant, distilled red raspberry, peppermint and brown spices. The palate is as bright, honeyed, and oily in texture as the nose leads one to imagine, and as buoyant and elegant as the best wines here today would lead one to hope. One has the impression of spiced and tangerine zest-studded red fruits glazed with honey and folded into vanilla cream. Botrytis might get more obvious or advanced, but it can scarcely be nobler than in this instance. Yet for all that, the wine is so refreshingly, succulently, fresh-fruitedly juicy that it seems capable of quenching the deepest thirst. “Fruit cubed” I ventured ? and, no, I wasn’t thinking of Jell-o! The purity, penetration, reach and concentration of the finish are truly extraordinary, and I was beginning to fear at this point that adjectival as well as sensory overload – or possibly an Alice experience - were but one more sip away. - David Schildknecht
