Domaine de Chevalier is a prestigious wine property in the Pessac-Léognan appellation of the Graves region. Founded in 1770, it was ranked among the Crus Classés for red and white wine in the Classification of Graves wine of 1953 and 1959. This is the estate’s flagship white wine, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Expect notes of grapefruit, orange, peach and mango complemented by hints of pine and flint.

Vinous
The 2016 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc has a well-defined bouquet of white peach, apricot and light candle wax aromas and nicely integrated oak. The well-balanced palate leads with quince and orange peel on the entry, revealing a pleasant bitter undertow and fanning out with confidence toward the saline finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. Neal Martin1st August 2020
