Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Dom Pérignon is named after the legendary Benedictine monk, Father Pierre Pérignon, who in 1668 arrived at the Abbey of Hautvillers, north of Épernay and began experiments that would eventually lead to the creation and bottling of sparkling wine as we know it today. The 1982 Rosé offers up an evocative nose of wild strawberries, ripe and spicy, quickly developing into notes of mocha and nutmeg. Compact on the palate with a gamey finish.

It has been quite a few years since I last tasted the 1982 Dom Pérignon Rosé, especially the original release. This bottle, one of the best I have ever had, proves that provenance and storage are everything. Immediately captivating, the 1982 soars from the glass with the most exquisite bouquet imaginable. A rush of silky, red-fleshed fruit follows. The 1982 is at once gentle and dynamic, providing endless contrasts that are fascinating to follow. Like all great Champagnes, it continues to open beautifully in the glass, revealing myriad shades of its complex personality with each taste. In the past, I have often found the 1982 to be on the decline. This bottle is a rare exception. Even so, I would not push my luck on further cellaring, as there is not much more to be gained. Superb. The first release of this now famous prestige cuvée was the 1921 vintage, launched in 1936. Dom Pérignon produces only vintage Champagnes, both blanc and rosé, and offer a number of late release bottlings under their Oenothèque and Plénitude labels. The Maison produces elegantly balanced, harmonious and extraordinarily age-worthy Champagnes that are appreciated the world over. Young vintages offer a citrus-forward, brioche-like profile while mature bottlings present notes of toasted hazelnut, honey and orange oil. A true classic in the category and a wine that remains eternally popular with connoisseurs.
