Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Dom Perignon only managed to produce half their normal volume of wine in 2005. The wine has a beautifully rich, Pinot Noir-led nose of red and black fruits with toastier, more savoury tones coming with aeration. The palate is structured, focused and dense with fruit, leading to a long, elegant and faintly floral finish.

The 2005 Dom Pérignon is starting to enter its first plateau of maturity, where the aromas and flavors show the early signs of the development that takes place over time in bottle. Apricot, candied orange peel, dried flowers, mint and pineapple are nicely delineated in the glass. 17.5 Jancis Robinson

Disgorged in late 2013 in order to be released in March 2015. The nose is immediately big, broad and almost sweet with a strong sensation of baked apple. This wine is already quite open – quite a contrast with the usual much tenser impression given by young Dom Pérignons. Relatively light and pretty, this is a pleasing, well balanced, relatively evolved wine with the lightest of bitter notes on the finish. But it’s unlikely to go down in history as one of the great Dom Ps. (JR)

The Past, Present and Future of Champagne

The first release of this now famous prestige cuvée was the 1921 vintage, launched in 1936. Dom Pérignon produces only vintage Champagnes, both blanc and rosé, and offer a number of late release bottlings under their Oenothèque and Plénitude labels. The wine is named after the legendary Benedictine monk, Father Pierre Pérignon, who in 1668 arrived at the Abbey of Hautvillers, north of Épernay and began experiments that would eventually lead to the creation and bottling of sparkling wine as we know it today.

The Maison produces elegantly balanced, harmonious and extraordinarily age-worthy Champagnes that are appreciated the world over. Young vintages offer a citrus-forward, brioche-like profile while mature bottlings present notes of toasted hazelnut, honey and orange oil. A true classic in the category and a wine that remains eternally popular with connoisseurs.
