Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill 2007 is a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Diamond Mountain District of Napa Valley. This eight-acre vineyard is named for its grey volcanic ash soil, which produces a powerful and long-lived wine. The wine offers flavours of black fruit, lead pencil and earth, supported by a dense and upright structure. It reflects the rugged terroir of the site and the estate`s tradition of producing site-driven Cabernet. Small amounts of Petit Verdot are included in the blend to enhance its aromatic complexity and tannic depth.
