Dehours Grande Réserve NV is a non-vintage Champagne produced in the Marne Valley of France. Nestled in the heart of the Marne Valley, 15km from Epernay, Dehours is a well-respected, vineyard-focused Champagne house with a particular focus on Pinot Meunier. The Grande Réserve shows the juicy, fruity side of the Dehours range and uses a high proportion of wine from a perpetual reserve started in 1998. The base wine goes through malolactic fermentation and the final blended wine is aged on lees in the bottle for 15 to 27 months before disgorgement.

Disgorged in December 2024 with a dosage of one gram per liter, Dehours’s NV Brut Grande Réserve is built on the 2022 vintage and bolstered by 40% to 50% reserve wines from a perpetual cuvée initiated in 1998, it opens with expressive aromas of pear, peach, orange zest and honeysuckle. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, fleshy and ample, underpinned by vibrant acidity. Demonstrative and approachable, this wine promises immediate pleasure. - Kristaps Karklins

Signature wine of the estate, 60% of production. Based on about 60% Meunier, reflecting the similar proportion of estate planting, along with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Small fraction fermented in oak. Reserve wines from a solera begun in 1998. Based on 2013 but with a third of reserve wines. Pale straw colour. Quite a bit of development on the nose and very, very much more interesting than the average NV. Bravo! This is what grower`s champagne is all about. (JR)
