Crafted by David Léclapart, L`Apôtre 2004 is a Grower Champagne, hailing from Trépail in the Montagne de Reims. This Blanc de Blancs is produced from a single plot of Chardonnay vines, planted in 1946 on chalk-rich soils. Léclapart employs biodynamic farming methods, steering clear of synthetic treatments, while fermentation occurs in used oak barrels, preserving the wine`s purity. L`Apôtre is bottled without dosage, classifying it as an Extra Brut. The wine reveals notes of dried lemon, toasted almonds, and pronounced saline minerality, showcasing the distinct characteristics of the Trépail terroir without the influence of reserve wines.
