Maison Leroy holds a significant place in the Leroy portfolio, showcasing a range of wines personally chosen by Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy. This includes the 1995 vintage Côte de Beaune-Villages. Expect rich tertiary notes such as forest floor, leather, aged wood, and a touch of bonfire. Good concentration and a slightly drying finish.

Hand Picked Burgundies

The Leroy name is a key pillar of the Burgundian wine scene and a leading light in the Côte d'Or, with three main strands: Domaine Leroy, Maison Leroy and Domaine d'Auvenay (a small, biodynamically farmed Domaine founded by Lalou in 1988). Maison Leroy was founded by François Leroy as a négociant house in 1868 in the village of Auxey-Duresses and is today headed up by the renowned Lalou Bize-Leroy.

Unlike Domaine Leroy and Domaine d'Auvenay, Maison Leroy represents a portfolio of wines selected by Lalou, but not made by Lalou. Vignerons from across Burgundy will submit their wines for evaluation and, following a blind tasting, Lalou will select just a few to be bottled under the Maison label.
