Based in Meursault, Domaine Jean-François Coche-Dury is one of the most sought-after names in Burgundy. The estate consists of approximately 10.5 hectares of vineyard area, predominantly in and around the winery in Meursault. Coche-Dury`s only Grand Cru wine is this Corton-Charlemagne, where it owns a 0.88-hectare plot. The 2010 vintage is a pure and vibrant wine, marked by notes of white flowers, citrus, lemon zest and crushed minerals.

The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Domaine Jean-François Coche-Dury is the third bottle that I have encountered. I’m spoiled. It flirts perfectly with a heavenly bouquet that just shimmers with energy, the palate ideally balanced with incredible, ineffable depth and concentration, yet that acidity slices through it with effortless ease. I suspect a score with three figures instead of two is just a matter of time.Neal Martin16th September 2022
