Vinous
The 2003 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is a totally different wine. It clearly carries the signatures of a torrid summer. The flavors are unabashedly ripe and tropical. Soft and curvy, the 2003 also has quite a bit more flesh than Coche fans are used to in young-ish Charlemagne. But you know what? The 2003 remains remarkably fresh and full of life. Those opulent signatures will accompany the 2003 for the rest of its life, and yet its balance is impeccable. Antonio Galloni1st December 2020

Top Burgundy producer Domaine Coche-Dury was founded in 1973 by Jean-François Coche. Now under the stewardship of son, Raphaël, the Coches farm nearly 9 hectares of vineyards across six communes: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie and Volnay.
The Domaine is celebrated for its superb and highly acclaimed Chardonnay including Meursault Perrières, Meursault Les Chevalières, Corton Charlemagne and Puligny Montrachet Les Enseignères. With tiny yields and meticulous wine making, the Coche-Dury name is truly iconic on the Burgundy stage.
