Established exactly a century ago, Domaine Coche-Dury is one of the leading wine producers in the Côte de Beaune. The estate consists of approximately 10.5 hectares of vineyard area, predominantly in and around the winery in Meursault. Coche-Dury`s only grand cru wine is this Corton-Charlemagne, where it owns a 0.88-hectare plot. The 1996 vintage produced one of the best expressions of this cuvée, receiving the highest score by Jancis Robinson, who described it as ‘wonderfully powerful’.

Coche’s 1996 Corton-Charlemagne is one of the very finest wines I have ever tasted. Sadly, this bottle is off and not representative.Antonio Galloni1st September 2016
