Domaine Thierry Allemand Cornas Chaillot 2004 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard red wine produced from Syrah grapes in the Cornas appellation of the northern Rhône Valley. Domaine Thierry Allemand is a prestigious winery in the Cornas appellation of the Northern Rhône. Thierry Allemand is known for his attention to detail and meticulous winemaking, resulting in some of the most sought-after wines from the region. The Chaillot vineyard is one of the domaine’s two main vineyards, producing wines from old-vine Syrah. "A lighter red in the glass, this is extremely floral and offers super fragrant red flowers and red plums with mushrooms and sweet-smelling, earthy truffle-like nuances. The palate has inbuilt freshness. Super fine tannins are bathed in red plum and stony, slate like flavours. Finishes long and fresh. A wildly interesting wine of depth and detail." James Suckling, 2017

Vinous
Dark, almost opaque ruby. Intense, spicy raspberry and wild strawberry on the nose, with an exotic gingerbread quality. Very fresh in the mouth, with energetic red fruit flavors supported by bright acidity and silky tannins. With air, an exotic floral pastille note emerged, adding even more complexity. This is very elegant, not to mention highly concentrated.
