Colgin Cariad 2004 is a full-bodied Bordeaux-style blend featuring 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 8% Cabernet Franc. The fruit is sourced predominantly from David Abreu`s esteemed vineyards, particularly from the Madrona Ranch in St Helena. This vintage exhibits a complex aromatic profile with prominent notes of earthy minerality paired with dark fruit characteristics, including blackcurrants and cherries. While some tannins remain, the wine offers a full-bodied experience. Colgin Cellars, established in 1992, is renowned for its commitment to crafting nuanced, site-specific Napa Valley wines.
