Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is a family owned and operated estate and is one of the preeminent producers in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Though one of the largest landowners in the region, they only produce three red and two white wines, of which Télégramme is considered to be the second label red as it is made from younger vines not located on the Plateau of La Crau. Produced from vines that average 40 years of age, it is typically a blend of 80% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, 6% Mourvedre and 4% Cinsault. This is an incredibly high quality and charming wine that offers brilliant value from a highly acclaimed producer.

A Legacy from La Crau

Perched on the famed La Crau plateau, Vieux Télégraphe has been a pillar of excellence in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for over a century. The estate’s vineyards, planted with old vines that thrive in the region’s stony soils, produce wines that are both powerful and elegant. Under the stewardship of the Brunier family, Vieux Télégraphe has maintained a commitment to traditional winemaking, allowing the terroir to shine through in every vintage.

The estate’s wines, particularly the iconic La Crau, are celebrated for their complexity, structure, and ability to age gracefully over decades. Whether you’re enjoying a young vintage or one with years of bottle age, Vieux Télégraphe’s wines offer a profound expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s storied terroir.
