Bonneau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Célestins 2007 is a full-bodied red wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley.
Domaine Henri Bonneau is one of the iconic producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with just 6 hectares of vineyards split between the legendary La Crau and Couthézon sub-zones. Réserve des Célestins is the most famous of their wines and is a barrel selection only released in years where the quality is deemed exceptional.

Vinous
- Full ruby. Huge, room-filling bouquet of blackberry compote, cherry, potpourri and cured tobacco, along with an intense spicy quality and a hint of orange zest. Palate-staining dark fruit flavors are braced by a strong mineral component and complicated by star anise and candied lavender nuances. Refuses to let up on the finish, which emphatically echoes the dark berry and lavender notes. There are tannins lurking in here but they're buried beneath this wine's powerful fruit.
