Established in 1835 in the heart of the northern Rhône, Delas Frères is renowned for producing exceptional wines from both the northern and southern Rhône regions. The winery`s origins date back to 1835 when it was founded by Philippe Delas and Charles Audibert. Eventually, Philippe`s two sons took over, with one of them marrying Charles` daughter. The Maison was renamed Delas Frères in the early 1920s, a name that became synonymous with top-notch quality. In 1993, Delas Frères became a part of the Champagne Louis Roederer group. This release features their Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the 2000 vintage. Overall, the growing season leading up to the harvest was consistent, resulting in well-balanced wines with vibrant, ripe fruit. Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, and Vacqueyras all saw particular success in this vintage.
