Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Impériale Raymond Usseglio 2010 is a red Grenache-based blend from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the Southern Rhône. It features deep layers of kirsch, garrigue, black pepper and liquorice supported by a dense, full-bodied structure that reflects the power of these ancient vines planted in 1902. This benchmark vintage offers a seamless integration of its robust alcohol and intense fruit, providing a rich mouthfeel that remains balanced by an underlying mineral freshness and fine-grained, persistent tannins. The 2010 vintage is considered legendary for its balance, and this cuvée exemplifies that harmony with its sustained finish and secondary notes of dark chocolate and lavender.

A candidate for perfection, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale Vignes Centenaire is clearly the greatest wine I have ever tasted from Raymond Usseglio, even eclipsing their remarkable 2007. Don’t be surprised if it merits a three-digit score in five or six years. Somewhat closed, but bursting with potential, the wine is inky/purple to the rim and boasts abundant amounts of concentrated, jammy blackberry, kirsch, licorice, lavender, forest floor, white chocolate and a hint of truffles in its magnificent perfume. Some tannins appear in the mouth, but there is no doubting the luxurious concentration, multidimensional mouthfeel, full-bodied texture, enormous extract and richness, and nearly endless finish. This monumental Chateauneuf du Pape needs to be forgotten for 4-5 years and consumed over the following 2-3 decades.

This classic winemaking estate, which employs the well-known Xavier Vignon as their consultant, owns over 45 acres spread throughout Chateauneuf du Pape, with the largest holdings in the north. Raymond Usseglio’s 2011s are very strong efforts.

The 2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Impériale Vignes Centenaires needs plenty of aeration to open up, gradually releasing its black-fruited, spicy aroma profile. Over time, wild strawberries, garrigue, tobacco, leafy shadings and earthy scents step into the picture. Shaped by smooth tannins, the full-bodied 2010 possesses elevated flavor concentration and walks off the stage with a long and savory finish.
