Chateau Musar 2009 opens with a complex bouquet of dark fruit, notably black cherry and plum, intertwined with earthy undertones and subtle spice. The palate is structured, revealing layers of roasted coffee and fine tannins that accentuate the wine`s depth. The acidity provides balance, leading into a lingering finish marked by notes of dried herbs and a touch of oak, reflecting the wine`s aging process.

This vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Grenache, sourced from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Chateau Musar is known for its traditional winemaking methods, using indigenous grapes and fermenting with natural yeasts. The 2009 vintage showcases the winery’s unique approach, as the fruit was harvested from vines over 30 years old, aged in French oak barrels, and bottled without filtration.
