The outstanding Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé 2008 is a blend of 63% Pinot Noir and 37% Chardonnay, with a dosage that is significantly lower than in previous vintages. The nose opens up to pink grapefruit, blood orange and redcurrants, wrapped in a layer of toasted bread and smoke. The palate is structured, lively and generous, with hints of minerality. Try it with tiger prawns in seafood cocktail sauce.

Where Heritage Meets the Finesse of Time

For nearly two centuries, Charles Heidsieck has stood as a beacon of excellence in the world of Champagne, crafting some of the most expressive and meticulously aged wines in the region. Founded in 1851 by the visionary Charles-Camille Heidsieck, the house quickly earned a reputation for bold innovation and unwavering quality. Nicknamed “Champagne Charlie” for his pioneering efforts in introducing Champagne to America, Heidsieck’s adventurous spirit lives on in every bottle. The maison’s historic chalk cellars, dating back to the Gallo-Roman era, provide the ideal conditions for the long ageing that defines Charles Heidsieck’s signature depth and complexity.

Renowned for its opulent texture, rich aromas, and refined balance, Charles Heidsieck Champagne is crafted using an exceptionally high proportion of reserve wines, some aged for over 10 years. This dedication to extended maturation results in an unmistakable creaminess and layered complexity. From the elegant Brut Réserve to the prestigious Blanc des Millénaires, every cuvée reflects the house’s meticulous craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. With a legacy built on time, patience, and audacious creativity, Charles Heidsieck remains one of Champagne’s most distinguished and sought-after names
