The domaine vineyards have been managed biodynamically since 2001. The domaine`s Charlemagne cuvée is sourced from two parcels. one in Le Charlemagne, in Aloxe-Corton, and the other in En Charlemagne on the Pernand side.
Vinous
The 2022 Charlemagne Grand Cru now comes from two parcels in Pernand and Aloxe-Corton. It has quite a perfumed nose with white peach and light dried honey scents, though it needs a little more mineralité and tension, a little smudged compared to the previous vintage. The well-balanced palate is rich and generous, with a honeyed texture, though its acidity balances it. Plenty of tropical fruit joins the party on the finish. Fine.
