Chapelle-Chambertin Cécile Tremblay 2008 is a Grand Cru red Burgundy produced by Cécile Tremblay, a winemaker recognised for her commitment to biodynamic practices. The grapes are sourced from a specific parcel in the Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru. The winemaking process typically involves whole-cluster fermentation with indigenous yeasts and extended ageing in oak barrels, often using a significant proportion of new oak. This vintage is noteworthy for its elegant structure and balanced acidity, reflecting the challenges of the growing season.

- Deep red-ruby. Reticent but pure aromas of dark fruits, smoked meat, minerals, pepper and sexy oak, plus a whiff of garrigue. Concentrated, aromatic and sweet, with enticing herbal and peppery lift to the dark fruit and licorice flavors. Not as fleshy as the Beaux Monts but very pure, scented and long. Always the best-looking grapes along with the Feusselottes, notes Tremblay.
