Domaine de L’Eglise 2000 is a red wine crafted from a blend predominantly of Merlot, reflecting the estate`s focus on producing wines with depth. This vintage displays a richly textured body, characterised by a rounded mouthfeel and integrated tannins. On the palate, the wine conveys flavours of dark fruits with earthy undertones.
Vinous
- The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a pretty, slightly tertiary bouquet featuring touches of brown spice sprinkled over the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, slightly chalky in texture and spicier than recent vintages that I have tasted. It is a little rustic in style, but that is part of its charm.
