Dolcetto d`Alba Roagna 2023 is a medium-bodied red wine crafted from the Dolcetto grape, sourced from Roagna estate`s vineyards in Piedmont. The wine undergoes a vinification process which includes submerged cap maceration lasting around 10 days. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately eight months in both large oak casks and stainless steel tanks. Expect aromatics of vibrant violet, delicate rose petals, fresh forest berries (cherry, raspberry, blackberry) and subtle notes of cherry cola and liquorice. On the palate, it presents a crunchy, pure fruit character with refreshing acidity, integrated, silky tannins, and a persistent finish.

The 2008 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze is an intensely floral, cool wine graced with exquisite finesse in its dark red berries, flowers, minerals and menthol. It is naturally less obvious than the 2009, but just as convincing. A textured, sweet and multi-dimensional finish rounds things out in style. The Bèze is quite a bit more open than the Bonnes-Mares, but it nevertheless needs time, and probably lots of it.
