Carbonnieux 1989 is a mature-vintage, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux. With its origins dating back to the 13th century, Château Carbonnieux witnessed ownership transitions across several families over the subsequent six centuries. A significant chapter in the château`s modern history began in the mid-1900s when it was acquired by the Perrin family. In 1959 both the red and white wines of the property received the distinguished classification of Grand Cru Classé de Graves. This bottling of the grand vin is from the stellar 1989 Bordeaux vintage.
