The Bryant Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 is a red wine from the Napa Valley, crafted entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This vintage reflects the meticulous practices of Bryant Family Vineyard, established in 1992 by Andrew and Nancy Bryant. The wine exhibits a structured profile with notes of dark fruits, earthy undertones, and a firm tannin structure. A long, persistent finish showcases the wine`s ageing potential. Ideal for those seeking a refined exploration of Napa`s terroir, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers insight into American viticulture.
93 Vinous
(16.1% alcohol): Dark red-ruby. Aromas of plum, licorice, minerals and wild herbs, plus a whiff of spun sugar. In a distinctly plush, creamy-sweet style, conveying an opulent dried-fruit character complicated by a faint leathery quality. Not the last word in complexity but finishes with very smooth tannins and excellent length. This wine is carrying just 1.2 grams per liter of residual sugar but tastes sweeter than that. Not a classic style for this bottling, and certainly ready to drink.Stephen Tanzer1st May 2018

Don Bryant bought the Pritchard Hill parcel in the mid-1980s, hired David Abreu to develop the vineyard and Helen Turley to make the wines. Don Bryant had the foresight, intuition, and knack for successful ventures. Since Don passed away, his wife Bettina has taken over operations. A 13-acre vineyard is planted on Pritchard Hill in Napa, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, but the team also cultivate a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The estate producer three wines - an estate Cabernet Sauvignon and two Bordeaux blends produced using some fruit from David Abreu's Madrona, Thorevilos and Las Posadas vineyards.
