Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced exclusively from grand cru vineyards. With an elegant, fine mousse, the nose and palate offer up a bouquet of of lime, grapefruit and white blossom with a touch of almond and toast. The finish is fresh and long.

100% Chardonnay, from Le Mesnil, Oger and Chouilly. First-pressed juice. 4 years on lees. A deliberately reduced mousse pressure. Extra Brut (dosage 5 g/l). Disgorged 2016. Very pale indeed. Gosh, this is explosively pungent, and almost as though it were older than it is. Extremely tight knit and without too much mousse. Could stand in very happily at the table for a superior Chablis. Gunsmoke finish. (JR)
