Bruno Paillard is an independent and family-owned Champagne house founded in 1981. Première Cuvée Rosé is homage to the delicacy of Pinot Noir. Copper-tinged pink in the glass, there are soft aromas of raspberry and redcurrant. The palate brings wild strawberry and floral flavours whilst very low dosage ensures tantalising freshness.
92 Vinous
The NV Extra Brut Rosé Première Cuvée is generous and inviting, with lovely balance and tons of class. Readers will find an engaging, versatile Rosé that will be equally at home as an aperitif or at the dinner table with lighter fare. Containing 25 vintages of reserve wines dating back to 1985, the Rosé displays hints of cranberry, mint, crushed rocks and orange zest that linger on the bright, wiry finish. Dosage is less than 6 grams per liter. Disgorged: November, 2022.
16.5 Jancis Robinson
Tasted blind.Pale salmon pink. Smoky Pinot perfumes. Very tight bead. Competent and zesty. Feisty wine! Serious wine – filigree stuff. (JR)
