Domaine Coche-Dury was founded in 1973 by Jean-François Coche. Now under the stewardship of son, Raphaël, the Coches farm nearly 9 hectares of vineyards across six communes. Though rather more famous for Chardonnay from more highly acclaimed crus, this is an excellent “entry-level” wine that gives the perfect snapshot into the quality and style of Coche-Dury. Sourced from various plots with vines that have significant age, this is a mid-weight, fresh and beautifully balanced wine, with delicious notes of orchard fruits, citrus, white flowers and the most subtle hint of struck match.

Matured in 30% new oak, the 2018 Bourgogne Blanc was bottled in April and comes from vines around the maison. It has a well-defined bouquet, the oak neatly integrated. The palate is balanced with a sapid opening, good depth and a slightly tangy, straightforward yet unmistakably persistent finish. - Neil Martin - Matured in 30% new oak, the 2018 Bourgogne Blanc was bottled in April and comes from vines around the maison.
