Domaine Coche-Dury founded in 1973 by Jean-François Coche is now under the stewardship of son, Raphaël. The Coches farm nearly 9 hectares of vineyards across six communes. Though rather more famous for Chardonnay from more highly acclaimed crus, this is an excellent “entry-level” wine that gives the perfect snapshot into the quality and style of Coche-Dury. Sourced from various plots with vines that have significant age. The 2012 vintage of this wine showcases the elegance and purity that define Domaine Coche-Dury. A lower-yielding year produced a wine of impressive concentration, with lively citrus, delicate white flowers, and a subtle mineral edge. Its refined structure and crisp acidity provide energy and poise, making it a beautifully balanced expression with both youthful vibrancy and promising ageing potential.
