Domaine Coche-Dury was founded in 1973 by Jean-François Coche. Now under the stewardship of son, Raphaël, the Coches farm nearly 9 hectares of vineyards across six communes. Though unquestionably most lauded for Chardonnay, he also produces Aligoté from a single plot of vines located behind the family home. Many consider this to be among the very best expressions of the variety.
