Ramonet Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet 2003 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Grand Cru climat of Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is an acclaimed Burgundy estate producing some of Burgundy`s most highly regarded wines. Founded in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is currently run by Noël Ramonet and his brother Jean-Claude. Old vines and low yields form the foundation of Ramonet`s viticultural ethos, and vines younger than 18 years are not used in the top cuvées. On the 2003 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet. This is a particularly hedonistic example of the domaine`s Grand Cru Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet from the very hot 2003 vintage.
