Especially renowned for its single-vineyard wines, Marchesi di Barolo is a historic wine producer situated in the village of Barolo. The estate was founded in the early 1800s by Giulia Colbert and Carlo Tancredi Falletti – the Marchesi di Barolo – and it was the first winery to vinify Nebbiolo in a dry style. This is a rare bottle of Barolo from the 1952 vintage, a good year for the Piedmont region.
