The Balvenie Peat Week Aged 14 Years [2003 Vintage] is a single vintage bottling, limited and rare by nature. It is a non-chill filtered expression, bottled at 48.3% ABV and matured solely in American Oak casks, providing a smooth palate, with woody peat smoke complemented by oaky vanilla and honey. Available here in a compact 3cl sample bottle.

Crafted with Care

One of Speyside's most famous single malts, located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant and Sons. The distillery was founded in the late 1800s by William Grant, who worked at the Mortlach distillery nearby. Master Distiller David Stewart is credited with making Balvenie the powerhouse we know today.

David worked at Balvenie for many decades and introduced many innovations that are now widespread across the industry including 'cask finishes' where whiskies are aged for a period in ex-Bourbon wood before being finished for a relative short period in a more active barrel.
