From just 11.5 hectares in the heart of Pomerol, Pétrus has established a reputation that extends far beyond the size of its vineyard. Its wines are among the most closely followed and sought-after in Bordeaux, prized for their depth, precision and ability to evolve over decades.
For this Hedonistic Tasting, we invite you to taste Pétrus, with a selection of standout vintages spanning 1978 to 2015. From the 1978 vintage presented in Magnum to the highly regarded 2000 and 2009 vintages, the evening traces the evolution of Pétrus across different years and formats.
In an intimate setting, guests will take the time to explore each wine in depth, looking at its individual character, provenance and the nuances that emerge from vintage to vintage. A rare opportunity to experience an extraordinary vertical of Pétrus in one sitting.
The tasting will be led by James Hallam, one of our most knowledgeable Fine Wine & Spirits Specialists, and now, a familiar face to the Hedonistic Tasting Series. With a background in hospitality and a lifelong fascination with the stories behind each bottle, James brings both expertise and passion to every experience. Since joining Hedonism Wines in 2020, he has had the opportunity to taste some of the world’s most iconic wines. What drives him most is helping others find their personal “click moment” with wine, those unforgettable connections shaped by the people, places and history behind the glass.
Guests will be welcomed with Champagne Cristal 2008, before being invited to enjoy the following wines, each paired with canapés from our Michelin-starred restaurant, HIDE:

Due to the exclusive nature of this event, cancellations made within one month of the event are non-refundable unless the ticket is successfully resold by a Hedonism Wines Team Member. In that case, a refund or store credit will be issued.
