Henriot Dinner

Hedonism Wines & Hide are delighted to welcome Henriot’s multi award winning Chef de Cave, Laurent Fresnet, to host an unmissable dinner for Champagne connoisseurs. Henriot has been renowned as one of the finest producers of Chardonnay-dominant Champagnes since 1808 when Apolline, the widow of Nicolas Henriot, founded the House & spread its reputation to the grandest royal courts of Europe.

Henriot incorporates an exceptionally high proportion of Premiers & Grand Crus within its cuvees & guests will enjoy some of the best available from a broad spectrum of vintages. Cuvèe Enchanteleurs 1996, Cuvèe Hemera 2005 & Vintage Rosé 2008 will be served with dinner, following a reception of the exceptional Blanc de Blancs 2008.

Ollie Dabbous has again created a bespoke menu of Michelin-starred dishes to match these extraordinary champagnes. Delicious canapés with be followed by beef tartare with alliums & tarragon, glazed eel with cucumber & prickly ash followed by roast Limousin veal & summer vegetables; with each elegant dish complimenting the delicate flavours of the Champagne, as well as the best seasonal produce available as we finally move into summer. Hide’s signature Baked Alaska will finish the evening alongside Henriot Demi-Sec NV.

Tickets are priced at £295 each.

Guigal Dinner

The Guigal family are pioneers of modern winemaking in Rhône Valley. From their superb village level Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge & Blanc all the way up to their legendary single vineyard Côte-Rotie, the wines are of the highest quality across the board. We are delighted to be collaborating with our sister project Hide on yet another superb wine dinner focusing solely on the wines of this prestigious producer. The meal & tasting will be hosted by Guigal's-own Brett Clivendon who will guide guests through a flight of phenomenal reds & whites.  We hope you can join us for what is certain to be a exciting evening of fine wine & Michelin-starred food.

Guests will enjoy Condrieu 2017 paired a selection of canapés including crispy cod skins with tarama, radish & nasturtium & Romaine lettuce with Sussex Slipcote & crushed green herbs; Saint-Joseph Blanc 2017 & Saint-Joseph "Lieu Dit" Blanc 2017 paired with hand-picked crab, sea lettuce & a chilled lime leaf broth; Saint-Joseph Rouge "Vignes de L'Hospice" 2015 & Hermitage Rouge 2015 paired with roast Herdwick lamb, smoked cockles, baked turnip & a nasturtium dressing; Côte-Rotie "Brune et Blonde" 2015 & Château d'Ampuis 2015 paired with barbequed squab pigeon with black pepper & confit tamarillo before the meal concludes with Côte-Rotie La Turque 2013 served with a selection of artisan cheeses.

Champagne Lanson

Founded in 1760, Lanson is one of the most well known maisons in the Champagne region. During the 19th century, the wines became popular very outside their native France and were the favoured aperitif of the royal households of Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. In modern times, Lanson have shifted their focus to improving the quality of their prestige cuvée, particularly their vintage bottlings.

We are delighted to welcome Hervé Dantan to Hedonism to host this fantastic tasting. Hervé became Chef de Cave at Lanson in 2015 and has worked tireless to improve quality in both the vineyard and winery. Hervé will present and pour six different releases of Lanson's superb vintage Champagne including 1990, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004 2008 and 2009.

We hope you can join us for what is set to be a superb tasting of fine vintage Champagne with a true expert in the field.

Capreolus make few compromises in their pursuit of perfection. From hand-foraging wild berries in the countryside around their idyllic Cotswolds distillery to the letterpress printed labels that adorn their bottles, everything is done with thoughtful consideration - this is a hand-crafted product in every sense of the word.

Capreolus founder Barney Wilczak will host this fascinating tasting and discuss his amazing journey from the dream of distilling to creating some of the UK's most exciting and interesting spirits

Guests will sample a number of Barney's incredible eaux-de-vie including quince, Doyenné du Comice pear, plum, Siggerebe grape, raspberry & chestnut barrel aged apple. Alongside these fascinating fruit spirits, Barney will showcase three of his gins - Garden Swift, Garden Swift aged in ex-Sauternes barrels and Hart & Dart mulberry barrel aged gin.

Bourbon Blind Tasting & Quiz

Van Winkle, we are pleased to announce another opportunity for Bourbon buffs to pit their wits against each other for the chance to win a superb bottle of American whiskey (and the respect of their fellow whiskey lovers).

The evening will consist of a blind tasting of five American whiskies before a short quiz, with an accompanying dram to ease the nerves, before concluding with the prize giving for the three highest scoring guests. Prizes this year include a bottle Pappy Van Winkle 15YO*.

We hope you can join us for what is set to be fun and informal evening of tasting, quizzing and Bourbon appreciation.

Cù Bòcan Tasting

We are pleased to announce a tasting showcasing the result of a fascinating project from world famous Highland distillery Tomatin. Every December, the team take a break from their regular distilling schedule to produce a very special whisky - Cù Bòcan.

Produced using lightly peated barley for a delicate smoky character, the spirit is loaded into a mix of ex-Sherry, ex-Bourbon and virgin oak casks before ageing and finishing. The resulting drams are as innovative as they are delicious and a must-try for fans of interesting single malt Scotch. 

We hope you can join us for this vey special evening of fine single malt Scotch in the company of Cù Bòcan's-own Scott Adamson. Scott will be presenting three new additions to the Cù Bòcan range which will remain under wraps until a later date...
