Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Willi Schaefer Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett 2023 hails from the Mosel Valley, a region famed for its steep vineyards and slate soils. The grapes are sourced from the Graacher Himmelreich vineyard, characterised by its optimal sun exposure and mineral-rich terroir. This Riesling exhibits a pale straw hue, revealing aromas of fresh citrus and green apple. On the palate, one finds a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity, typical of the Kabinett style. Willi Schaefer, a respected producer since 1984, focuses on small, meticulous harvests that reflect the unique characteristics of their terroir.

The 2023 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett opens with substantial depth and a brilliant bouquet of wet slate. The fruit is intense but not dominating, thanks to the flintiness and savoriness of the Himmelreich terroir. On the palate, this is a mouth-filling, dense and complex Kabinett with ripe, elegant and juicy fruit intertwined with very fine phenols and an ethereal slate thread that gives this Kabinett an enormous length and animation. This will be a superb gastronomic wine after a decade of bottle age, although the 2023 already drinks beautifully today. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 2 24.

- The 2023 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Kabinett teases with a touch of scented white summer blossom and a stony crackle of wet slate bathed in ripe, juicy clementine. The palate is smooth and full, shining with pure, rounded, sweet clementine juiciness while standing on light, slender feet. A caress, a cloud of scent, a lovely and tender evocation of purest fruit. Such length, purity and exquisite balance are disarming. (Sweet)
