Good dark red. Aromas of blackberry and chocolate. Slightly peppery dark berry flavors show modest flesh but good cut and penetration. Finishes with lingering, slightly dry-edged black fruit flavors and a firm tannic spine.Stephen Tanzer1st March 2017

This sample is new oak but that comprises just 20% of the final wine. Lots of oak and really concentrated fruit. Impressive. But just as well the oak won’t be as evident in the final wine. (JR)Jancis Robinson9th November 2015
