The wines of Domaine Leroy are some of the most highly acclaimed and sought after in the world. With 21 hectares of vines across some of the most prized communes in Burgundy, viticulture is according to biodynamic principles and winemaking is meticulous, resulting in incredibly expressive wines of superb natural balance and excellent potential longevity. Les Beaux Monts is possibly one of the most revered Premier Crus in Vosne-Romanée, neighbouring both the Grand Crus of Échézeaux and Richebourg, and produces wines of extraordinary concentration, complexity and depth.

A much darker and more virile side of Vosne emerges from the 2015 Les Beaux Monts. Explosive and ample in textural feel, the Beaux Monts is a wine of real breadth. Smoke, leather and earthy notes complement the dark-tone fruit nicely in conveying an impression of authority.Antonio Galloni1st March 2018

Burgundian Royalty

The Leroy name is a key pillar of the Burgundian wine scene and a leading light in the Côte d'Or, with three main strands: Domaine Leroy, Maison Leroy and Domaine d'Auvenay (a small, biodynamically farmed Domaine founded by Lalou in 1988).

In 1988, recognising the trend towards domaine bottling in Burgundy, Lalou Bize-Leroy purchased what would become Domaine Leroy: an estate situated in Vosne-Romanée (previously known by the name Domaine Noëllat). Domaine Leroy labelled wines are thus are produced from parcels of grapes grown on the 22ha of domaine-owned Côte d'Or vineyards, which span nine different Grand Crus. These wines are produced biodynamically and at extremely low yields, resulting in superbly concentrated expressions of the Burgundian terroir.
