Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 2011 is a mature 1er Cru Pinot Noir from one of the most highly regarded 1er Cru climats in the Côte de Nuits. Dujac is one of the most celebrated names in Burgundy. Domaine Dujac was founded in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, who learned his craft from such Burgundy winemaking luminaries as Aubert de Villaine at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Charles Rousseau of Domaine Armand Rousseau. Dujac Pinot Noirs are typically made with wholebunch fermentation, although current winemaker Jeremy Seysses prefers to include destemmed grapes if he feels there is any deficiency in ripeness. "The 2011 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts, which was tasted blind, was instantly identifiable as Dujac since that attractive stemmy character was evident on the nose, here intermixed with iodine, black fruit, tree bark and a hint of green bell pepper. The palate is medium-bodied and conveys the structure that one seeks in a Malconsorts. It feels primal and (of course) unready, suggesting that four or five years will be necessary to see this in full flight." Wine Advocate, 2016

The 2011 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 1er Cru is a step down in intensity from the 2009 and 2010: leafy red fruit, forest floor, the stem addition here jutting out a little more than previous vintages. The palate is soft and mellow on the entry, again, the stem addition dictating the style of the wine rather than the terroir, attractive in its own way. But I would have preferred more depth and fruité on the linear, rather low-key finish. Is there more to come? Tasted at Flint Wines's Domaine Dujac tasting in London.Neal Martin1st March 2019

A Focus on Terroir

Founded in the late 1960s by Jacques Seysses, who purchased and renovated Domaine Graillet in Morey-St-Denis. The estate is currently run by Jacques' sons Jeremy and Alec, who farm around 17 hectares of vines across the Côte including holdings in Echezeaux, Clos de la Roche, Charmes-Chambertin and Bonnes Mares.

A natural approach is taken in the vineyard and cellar with the estate moving from organic farming to fully biodynamic in the mid 2000s, receiving their certification in 2011. The team's focus is on elegance - temperatures are controlled to keep alcohol in check and also limit malolactic fermentation while juice from the crush is fed into the cellar by gravity only without the use of pumping. The wines of Domaine Dujac represent pure, balanced expressions of their respective terroirs.
