The brand is named ‘Tres Tribus’ because it represents the collaboration of three different "tribes" or groups involved in the production process. the maestro mezcalero, the farmers, and the brand owners. The Tres Tribus Tobalá is a mezcal made from the wild Tobalá agave variety – scientifically known as Agave potatorum. Typically, a Tobalá mezcal will exhibit a more delicate and floral character compared to mezcals made from the more common Espadín agave. Expect notes of tropical fruit, flowers, and herbs, as well as a gentle sweetness and a touch of minerality on the palate.
