Established in 1998 by Joaquin Rivero, Bodegas Tradición is one of the newer bodegas in Jerez but has quickly garnered an impressive reputation. The key wines are all VOS or VORS, with core parts of the current Oloroso and Palo Cortado soleras containing wines from the 18th and 19th centuries purchased from Agustin Blazquez and Bodegas Croft.
This beautifully balanced and remarkably complex Amontillado sherry wonderfully combines the characteristics of both biological ageing under flor and oxidative maturation. An average of 34 years old, it offers delicious notes of dried fruits, citrus peel, sandalwood, salted caramel and roasted nuts.

Full, deep nose with layers of nuts, herbs, dried flowers and something slightly medicinal (in a good way). Intense flavours with high acidity cutting through. Interesting. (VD)
