Established in 1998 by Joaquin Rivero, Bodegas Tradición is one of the newer bodegas in Jerez but has quickly garnered an impressive reputation. The key wines are all VOS or VORS, with core parts of the current Oloroso and Palo Cortado soleras containing wines from the 18th and 19th centuries purchased from Agustin Blazquez and Bodegas Croft.
This is around 25 years on average and is a blend of 70% dry VORS Oloroso with 30% younger Pedro Ximenez sweet sherry. Sweet and incredibly complex, this is not your average Cream sherry!

The first bottling from 2025 of the NV Cream VOS, marked as L 1/25, is a VOS with an average age of 20 years, one of the few in this category, as Cream is usually presented as a younger and cheaper, less complex wine. It has a dark amber/light mahogany color and a complex nose, 18.5% alcohol and quite a lot of sugar, peachy and raisiny but complex and elegant, not at all vulgar like too many wines in the Cream category. It`s quite subtle and has aromas of peach and raisins and a balanced palate, dense and oily, with the sugar quite integrated. 759 bottles produced. - Luis Gutiérrez
