Thomas H Handy 2013 Release is a straight rye whiskey released as part of the Buffalo Trace Distillery Antique Collection. The youngest aged release from the collection, the Thomas H Handy 2013 is named after the New Orleans bartender who was the first to use rye whiskey in the now-famous Sazerac cocktail. Matured in casks for six years before bottling, this richly flavoured rye offers notes of caramel, cinnamon and clove, with hints of coconut, candied fruit and nutmeg.
