Competitive storage rates: £15 per 12-bottle case per year, £7.50 per 6-bottle case per year, equivalent to £1.25 per standard bottle. Alternative formats will be charged accordingly.

Quick and efficient delivery: Wines can be cleared and delivered within the UK in 3-4 working days.
Quarterly invoicing for storage fees to keep the process simple and transparent.

Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

A blend of malt (including some Yoichi from the 1945!) and grain whisky across nine decades, from the 1940s to the 2020s, sourced from six distilleries - Yoichi, Nishinomiya, Miyagikyo, Moji, Satsumatsukasa and Ben Nevis.

"Rich apple pie and raisin sweetness with toasty barrel-aging notes, gentle smokiness, and the nostalgic scent of antique furniture. Complex aromas evoke the feeling of standing in a whisky warehouse.

Mellow oak forms a base for spicy cinnamon, roasted nuts, and rich dark chocolate. Subtle peat bitterness balances sweet apricot jam and maple syrup, with an overall warmth reminiscent of sitting by a fireplace.

Gentle peat and full body with sweet and sour notes, leading to a pleasant bitterness on a very long finish."

Japan's First Distillery

Nikka's history dates back to the 1920s, when Masataka Taketsuru traveled to Scotland to study the art of whisky-making. Upon returning to Japan, he founded Nikka in 1934 and began producing some of the country's first single malt whiskies. Today, Nikka is one of the most respected whisky brands in the world, known for its exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

The production of Nikka whisky is a meticulous process that starts with carefully selecting the finest ingredients, including malted barley and water from the Japanese Alps. The barley is then mashed and fermented, before being distilled in traditional copper pot stills to produce a rich and complex spirit. The whisky is then aged in a variety of casks, including American oak, sherry oak, and Japanese Mizunara oak, to impart unique flavours and aromas.
