Tertre Rôteboeuf 1998 is a full-bodied, Merlot-driven red wine from the St-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux. Produced by the small, 6-hectare estate owned by François Mitjavile, this wine reflects the complexities of its warm vintage. The 1998 harvest is noted for its extended maceration, yielding concentrated flavours. The palate suggests ripe cherry and plum alongside hints of earthy tobacco and subtle spice. Aged entirely in new oak, the wine showcases a balance of richness and acidity. This vintage’s evolution over time offers a glimpse into the estate’s unique terroir and winemaking philosophy. Available here in magnum.
